Under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Department of Commerce formulates, implements, and monitors the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), which affords the primary framework of policy and strategy to be observed for selling exports and trade. About the DPIIT Internship Scheme:
The internship will be a minimum of six weeks, not exceeding three months. Interns not completing the training for the needful period will not be issued any certificate or paid stipend. Certificates concerning a hit crowning glory of the movement will be issued via the officer to whom the concerned Intern might be connected in a prescribed proforma. Interns might be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 10,000/-.

Candidates from other domain names can also be considered based on requirements on case-to-case foundation. Applicant needs to also clearly imply the areas of hobby and the duration of the engagement. A candidate can practice for an internship only once at some stage in an economic 12 months. The utility will be legitimate for consideration for everything of the monetary 12 months in which the software is made. After the quit of an economic year, the applications received in that financial year will become invalid. A fresh database of packages might be compiled for the new financial 12 months. When joining on selection, the applicant must publish a letter from their Head of Institution/Head of Department/ Principal indicating their reputation within the Institution and “ No Objection” for allowing their students to undergo an Internship program for the proposed length. Mere software submission does not confer any right on the applicants for choice/engagement for internship. The Department reserves the right to choose/interact with interns from diverse disciplines/branches based on its real requirements.
