National Outdoors Leadership School (NOLS) is the leading outdoor leadership school. We have been around since 1980 and we offer more than 40 courses from beginner to advanced. We are located in Boulder, Colorado and we accept students from all over the world. Our mission is to educate people about the outdoors through experiential learning.

Outdoor Leadership Development Program for Men

The Outdoor Leadership Development Program for Men (OLDM) is a program created by the National Outdoor Leadership School. This program offers courses that will teach students how to camp, hike, and survive in the wild. OLDM focuses on teaching students how to become responsible members of society, as well as being environmentally aware.

The classes taught are based on how to stay healthy, how to navigate, how to use a compass, how to build fires, and how to identify wildlife.
